    Solidarity Commitment

    The Endowment Fund of the Institut Henri Poincaré

    Since 2017, Vivienne Investissement has been providing financial support to the Endowment Fund of the Institut Henri Poincaré, in particular in the context of the Development of the Maison Poincaré. Scheduled to open its doors at the end of 2021, the Maison Poincaré is intended to be a place of exhibition and exchange dedicated to mathematics, between research, education and society. This unique 600 m² space will offer exhibitions and events open to the general public. The Maison Poincaré is a necessary  commitment to citizenship for Vivienne Investissement. It is a formidable adventure that takes up a scientific but above all human challenge: that of opening mathematics to the public.

    This sponsorship action extends to all the projects supported by the IHP Endowment Fund, such as the restoration of several mathematical models currently exhibited and preserved in the Library of the Institut Henri Poincaré or the making of the documentary on the encounter between Man Ray and mathematical models, linking Art and Mathematics.

    TimeWorld 2021, World Scientific Congress on Randomness

    TimeWorld is a world scientific congress. In November 2019, it had questioned the disciplines and professions for which time is a determining component. In July 2021, for its second edition in France, TimeWorld focused on chance to decipher it in all its forms, theoretical, applied and prospective.

    At Vivienne, we see mathematics as a true school of life. Feeling weak in the face of complexity, painstakingly examining the paths to the solution: they teach humility and perseverance. It was therefore a civic duty for us, but also a pleasure to support this beautiful project of opening mathematics to the public.

    The 75 years of the Nuits de Fourvière of Lyon

    Helping the world of culture is a civic duty, especially in a year like 2021. It has been a real pleasure for Vivienne Investissement to support the superb work done by the teams of the Nuits de Fourvière, a true cultural institution in Lyon.
